Dr. Timothy Brinkman
True happiness is helping others.
This is a quote that has influenced every stage of my life, and I still strive to find innovative ways to realize the idea through our clinic here at Pike Therapy, using a variety of interventions in an evidence-informed setting. My own journey highlights a love for Volleyball and Ultimate Frisbee, both of which I played at the collegiate level; bonus points for those who ask me about my great success in Quidditch as well. I pursued degrees in Biology, Psychology, and Theology in downtown Chicago. I served in restaurants culminating in a Michelin-starred Italian restaurant called Spiaggia by the Drake Hotel at the beginning of Chicago’s Magnificent Mile; this was President Obama’s favorite place, and if you ask I may share the time I made Lebron choke. For the equestrian interest, I was selected to train the staff serving the VIPs for the grand opening for The Mansion at Churchill Downs. If you want to swap celebrity stories, I am all ears. I live for my family, having married a Doctor of Physical therapy and having two kids and two dogs. We love to move, and I hope to get you back to your own activity as soon as possible.
